Prompt Examples
Every prompt below names four things in order: the scene, the dynamic between the characters, the tone, and the pacing. That order is what turns a vague idea into a story the AI can actually write well.
Each card includes a short "why this works" note so you can copy the pattern, not just the words. For the full technique, see the NSFW AI prompt guide.
Under the Warm Water
Steam, running water, and whispered affirmations melt a long week away.
A couple shares a long, unhurried shower after a tense work week. Steam, running water, and whispered affirmations melt away the stress, leading to slow, worshipful intimacy that respects exhaustion yet turns tender comfort into desire. Third person, romantic sensory details.
Why this works: Names the scene and emotional trigger first (a tense week), then states tone and pacing: "slow, worshipful."
Across the Garden Wall
Seen one night. Thrilled. Almost caught, and the thrill becomes part of it.
Through a summer garden gate, one neighbor accidentally sees an intimate moment at a party without being noticed at first — excited, guilty, thrilled — and the thrill of watching and almost being caught. Playful, discreet, sensual. Third person.
Why this works: One clear dynamic (seen vs. seeing) plus a tight setting keeps the whole scene focused instead of sprawling.
At the Rooftop Bar
A high rooftop, a city of lights, and the electricity of maybe being seen.
A pair at a high rooftop bar at night, the thrill of the city around them. The possibility of being seen is part of the electricity. Risk, adrenaline, loud music, laughter. Playful with a dangerous edge, explicit. Third person.
Why this works: Pairs one clear risk factor (being seen) with a mood word ("electricity") instead of piling on unrelated details.
After the Exam
Discipline role-play between a professor and a failing student — the grade is already settled.
A playful, theatrical role-play between a professor and a failing student who both know the grade is already closed. Discipline, counting, laughter breaking tension into heat. Consensual, kinky fun, explicit. Third person.
Why this works: Tone word "playful" and "theatrical" prevents the model from defaulting to a harsher, more serious register.
Stacks & Late Hours
The late-night section of the library, a message in the margin, a living spark.
Two women who meet again in the late-night section of the city library, reconnecting over a shared marginalia, then discovering that the spark does not fade when the lights click off. Romantic, slow, sensual. Third person.
Why this works: Front-loads the hook (a message in the margin) before tone, so the model knows what the scene is actually about.
Tasting Notes
A sommelier and a writer, a tasting, and an unstoppable mutual sunset.
A sommelier and a writer at a small vineyard for a tasting. Curious eye contact, description of scents and textures turning unexpectedly personal, and an unhurried, unstoppable sunset. Sensual, warm, explicit. Third person.
Why this works: Sensory anchors (scent, texture) give the model concrete material to describe instead of vague attraction.
Anniversary Box
A curated box of new toys becomes a patient inventory of sensation.
For their anniversary one partner unveils a curated box of new toys. The night becomes a slow, kind, guided tour of each one’s sensations. Romantic, patient, communicative, exploratory. Explicit, sensual. Third person.
Why this works: Spells out the dynamic explicitly ("guided tour") so the model does not have to guess who is leading the scene.
Caught in the Rain
One bus stop, one shared umbrella, and a storm that lasts just long enough.
Two people repeatedly sharing the same crowded bus stop shelter and a surprise storm catches one without an umbrella. Small talk deepens, the rain keeps falling, and warmth breaks the last excuse. Slow-burn, romantic, sweet with heat. Third person.
Why this works: Mild intensity is stated up front, so pacing stays a genuine slow burn instead of rushing to an explicit turn.
Turning any example into your own prompt
Swap the setting, keep the sentence order. Change "shower after a tense work week" to your own setting, keep the tone and pacing words in place, and you already have a working prompt without starting from scratch. Small edits beat blank-page rewrites almost every time.
